What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. They let a site remember preferences, track sessions, and (sometimes) build advertising profiles. Different cookies do different things.

What we set, by category

Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default. They only load after you explicitly opt in via the cookie banner.

CategoryPurposeDefault
Strictly necessaryStores your cookie choice (oravita-consent, localStorage) and any session state needed to render the site. Cannot be disabled. On
AnalyticsAggregated page views and Core Web Vitals via Vercel Web Analytics. No cookies set, no advertising IDs, no cross-site tracking. Provider: Vercel Inc.Opt-in
MarketingHubSpot CRM tracking. Sets the hubspotutk cookie to attribute form submissions to a session and follow up on enquiries. Provider: HubSpot, Inc.Opt-in

How to control them

A cookie banner appears on first visit, asking you to accept all, reject all, or pick categories. Your choice is stored locally and respected on every page. To change your decision later, use the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

Strictly necessary state cannot be disabled — without it the banner cannot remember your decision. Most browsers also let you block all cookies or block specific categories; see your browser’s documentation for details.

Third-party cookies

Embedded content from external services (e.g. video players, social-media embeds) may set their own cookies when the embed loads. These cookies are governed by the third party’s own privacy policy. We avoid embeds where possible and document any in-use embeds in the privacy policy.
